How Does ICYM Function?
A+
A-
ICYM coordinates the Youth Apostolate at the Diocesan, Regional and National levels. It has the National Youth President, Vice-President, Secretary, Joint Secretary, Treasurer, Liturgy Secretary, Media Secretary and Bulletin/Content Editor of the National Executive Committee (NEXCO). This empowerment of the Youth is to pave the way to raise issues and stand up, at the National level, for those issues which call the attention of the dynamic and un-corrupt leadership, keeping in mind the "national", “ritual” and "supra-ritual" nature of ICYM.
Taking into account the "Church Reality" in India, the provision is made for fair and equal representation of each diocese and region. The General Body and Governing Body are reflective of the unity and integrity of the Church and Country i.e. office bearers of CCBI, Bishops of the Youth Commission, priests, Religious, youth representatives, etc.
